😘 Just post it boo. It will never look like @br 😘 Just post it boo. It will never look like @brunchwithbabs folded it, k?

I used to say “quality over quantity,” but now, I say “quantity CREATES quality.”

It’s like reps at the gym or making the same recipe over and over. The more you do it, the EASIER and FASTER it gets.

So I’m not going to pretend that when you first start trying to post consistently it will be “quick and easy!!!” because there WILL be a learning curve.

But was it “quick and easy” when you were first learning to poke people with needles!? Or adjust their cervical spine? Prob not. 😘

SECRETS REVEALED! 😂 Most social media strategis SECRETS REVEALED! 😂 Most social media strategists won’t admit this but I *actually* do this sometimes. Why?

Comments beget comments. If something is getting 🦗crickets, I ain’t too proud to ask. 😅 Sometimes, 2-3 comments is all it takes for others to hop on.

🛑 IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER READ THIS: DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, join a comment pod. 🛑

Why? Because the algorithm is smart. When you join a comment pod, you’re teaching Instagram that you only want to see those pod people’s posts and vice versa.

You are essentially creating a closed loop. Not to mention, I can spot phony comments from a mile away (aka a food blogger whose only comments are from other food bloggers that say “yum!” 😅😂).

Should you do this all the time? Absolutely not. If you do this for every post you might as well be in a comment pod (which again- don’t do that).

But when I first started my biz, you better believe my friends and family were my MVPs when I needed them, even though they aren’t my ideal clients. I still use this if I have an important grid post I want to get extra traction. Sometimes, you just need a little momentum.

So now you know the dark secrets. You’re in my inner circle. 🤐

Ever feel like showing up on Instagram shouldn’t Ever feel like showing up on Instagram shouldn’t be this hard… and yet it is?

In episode 75 of the Holistic Marketing Simplified podcast, holistic psychotherapist (and PhD candidate!) Michelle Shlafman explains why creating content is never just about marketing—it’s a healing process of its own.

If you’re a practitioner who freezes up, overthinks every post, or avoids Reels because “something feels off”… you’re not broken. You’re brave for even considering being seen. 👏

Michelle breaks down:
💡 How your insecurities can surface when you're creating content
💡 Why social media feels emotionally risky—and how to ground yourself anyway
💡 Why consistency doesn’t have to mean hustle or burnout

I didn’t want a military man 😂 But here we a I didn’t want a military man 😂

But here we are, 11 years later, and DAMN, I love you so much, Matt.

We laugh sometimes about how well matched we are. Like. We quite literally cannot believe how lucky we got to find each other, and the crazy events that had to transpire for it to happen.

I had moved to south Alabama to be with my college boyfriend of 5 years. I’m so grateful I moved in with him, because I pretty immediately knew we weren’t a good match.

I moved out 6 months later, was single for a year, and decided the only way to meet someone while working 70 hour weeks and driving 1000 miles per week for my medical sales job was through a dating site (this was pre dating app- those didn’t exist yet!)

Mom convinced me to get on @eharmony , and one of my main complaints about where I lived in beautiful Fairhope, Alabama was that “every boy is either a tourist or military, or cookie-cutter ‘Alabama boy’” - and I wasn’t interested in any of that 😂.

Matt was in my first set of matches, and I immediately scrolled right past his profile because A) he was a military and B) his profile was riddled with ridiculous typos. I thought in my head “this guy‘s an idiot“ and moved right along 😂

I would love to see if I could log back in and see our original conversation because I remember that he messaged me first and said something funny and I was instantly intrigued.

We chatted on the phone for a while and met for our first date somewhere very public because I joked with him that I didn’t want him to hide me in his attic . 😂😂

I remember going to a workout class and my legs being super sore and he joked “well that will make it easier for me to hide you in my attic” and I must be a psycho because for whatever reason I just thought that was funny and not creepy at all 😂😂

I could keep going… but I’ll end with this- thank you for being the love of my life and soulmate and the best FATHER I could have imagined for MJ. Cheers to so many more.

📸 our wedding was so special. We have since lost ELEVEN friends & family who came. It’s unreal and heartbreaking. But I’m so grateful for the memories. Miss you dad, Nanny, Papaw (and grandpa Cahill) and so many more. 💛
Years ago, pretty Canva graphics and stock photos Years ago, pretty Canva graphics and stock photos could get the job done, but not anymore. 😅

When you’re a chiropractor, acupuncturist, massage therapist, func med provider etc., you can’t get away with-

❌ a Happy Donut Day graphic and a random Ghandi quote as your “social media strategy.”

😬😬 And most syndicated content services are stuck in 2016.

Stock imagery also has to go- in our fully booked Instagram management agency, we only use them when we absolutely HAVE to.

Standing out in the crowd can be easily remedied by:

⭐️Making sure provider’s faces are shown, preferably on a Reel, at least once every 3-4 posts

⭐️ Only using Canva for on-brand, meaty carousels that establish you as the authority in your field (or for the occasional announcement/event)

⭐️ Using language that’s HYPER specific to the types of patients or clients you’re seeing in your office (or virtual office) that infuses real life stories from your experience (not “3 tips for better sleep”)

And the even better news? You DONT have to implement this yourself.

😎 The VAST majority of my new Holistic Marketing Hub students have been a CA, assistant, or front desk who are upskilling to take over their clinic’s social media with intention and strategy-

and I’ve created a free download that walks through:

▶️ a sample job description of a social media manager (scratch this if you already have someone)

▶️ a list of ideal daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables (pulled from what we do for our Instagram management clients)

▶️ a breakdown of all of my training videos inside Holistic Marketing Hub that they can check off as they watch

(⬅️ this is the “upskill” part! Simple “knowing how to post” or making pretty Canva graphics is not social media management)

🤩🤩 Comment OUTSOURCE to get the guide- I think you’ll love it. 😘
