If I was letting perfectionism win, I would be perfectly dolled up in a fancy podcast studio,

likely feeling like my podcast was a slog (but I’m not interested in that level of production right now). 

🙈 None of you would get my free content because it wasn’t “perfect” enough for your eyes and ears.

So every time you agonize over the perfect words, audio, video, design…

remember that no one is actually paying that close of attention.

They’re bombarded with content all day every day.

🧐 They are tired of endless research and are looking for YOU- the health expert in their community- to be served up in their feed.

A beacon of hope.

⚓️ Anchor to WHY you’re posting- it’s not because I said so.

It’s because people in your community NEED YOUR HELP, and they don’t know you exist.

I used to say quality over quantity. And in theory, that still makes sense in a lot of ways.

But one thing I know for CERTAIN now is that quantity CREATES quality. 🤯

PS: Delegating your socials to a staff member or patient or VA or agency like ours can be helpful to get over the hump of sitting on your genius. 😉

📵And I have been unfollowing/muting all health content recently.

I don’t want to project my personal lived experience on to all of you, but I truly think I’m not a minority.

I realized that unfortunately, it’s been keeping me in a loop of scanning and chasing perfection

and protocols and inherently feeling like my body (or worse- my child’s) is a full time job that needs fixing and constant hypervigilence to keep running properly-

which is creating the OPPOSITE of a sense of safety in my body.

🙌 Let me be clear - holistic health SAVED me.

I was on 4 prescription meds 10 years ago. 💊 I am on ZERO now. All thanks to practitioners like you. Which is why I do what I do!

But content and practitioners I’m drawn to now after spending literal 10s of thousands on my health is SO simple:

💪 It’s the content/people that make me REMEMBER how effing STRONG and CAPABLE our bodies are.

As a mom of a 9 year old girl, I think my BEST parenting move has been continuing to tell her how STRONG her body is, even when she’s sick.

Now, if she ever gets a fever, she says “my body is getting an upgrade.” 🌡️

When she has a cut that’s healing, I point out “wow- isn’t that so cool your body just knows how to heal that cut!?”

I’ve also started getting days of my life back by incorporating Western meds. Cramps on CD1? I take an ibuprofen. 

❌ We had our agency team meeting yesterday and I even told my team to stop saying “just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s normal…” in our client’s content.

I’m not knocking if you say that- we did all the time! But it started not sitting right.

“HEY YOUR BODY ISNT NORMAL” feels… awful. Right?

I know I teach using specific symptoms/conditions/problems in your hooks. This is still true. Pain points don’t always equal FEAR.

But the underlying intention/lens should be reinforcing the fact that we are NOT broken. ☺️
